Transforming Ain't Easy

Generation I really rocked big time. You had all the original characters as well as new paths for new possible additions to the two Transformers factions, you had good writing, you had cheesy plot lines, all bundled up together with a healthy dose of 80s electro-rock. What more could you ask for?

The animation was colorful and fancy-pants (especially to the eyes of bewildered children), even though there were fill and continuity errors from time to time; but, hey, it was the 80s - the perfect time for incompetence.

And from that era arose a retro fan base so powerful and wicked that, today, they desire to dust off those old animations of yesteryear and scrutinize it to the full extent of the law, without mercy or penance. That brings up to flying omelette's...

Not the noun but an actual site name. Flying Omelette has taken time out to build for you, dear Transformer fans, a site that allows you to watch the actual transformation animation of the Transformers (don't repeat that) in .gif file format.

So, if you've got a lot of time to kill working that boring desk job that you do, check it out.
